Rachael's love of tracing family history stems from being part of a big family.

 

She has traced both of her grandfathers families back into the mid 1700s, and held family reunion parties to bring the family all together for a day of celebration and reminiscing.  Rachael's heritage is Cornish through and through with generations of mainly farming families living in West Cornwall.  She has lived in the Hayle area all her life and has close connections with the parishes of Gwinear on her father's side (surname Eustice) and St Buryan on her mother's side (surname - Jeffery).
